ART Concept Based Unit Activities
Students had the opportunity to explore the world of many artists, including, Leonardo da Vinci , Claude Monet, Pierre Auguste Renoir, George Seurat, Vincent Van Gogh, Romare Beardan, Grant Wood, Maurits Cornelius Escher, Faith Ringgold, Salvador Dali, Gustav Klint, Edgar Degas,, Mary Cassat, Edward Henry Potthast, Katsushika Hokusai , and Georgia O'Keefe.
Students had the opportunity to explore the many facets of Color, and also created many differetn types of visual art, including, a color wheel using acrylic paints, origami, tessellations, Multi-media 3D sculptures, oil pastels and water color painted flowers in the style of Georgia O'Keefe, and Lego art.
